Q - When is next years festival?

A - Next year the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival will be held on March 31, 2012.

Q - Is there an alternate rain date should the forecast be for bad weather?

A - The festival will operate in almost any weather therefore there is no rain date. The festival has only been cancelled once in it's history and that was due to a very serious winter snow storm.

Q - What is the cost of the event?

A - While attending the festival has no direct cost, our various attractions do. Please click here to learn more.

Q - Is the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival dog friendly?

A - Dogs are permitted however, the festival is very busy and there are not any facilities for pets. Dogs are also not allowed in the inside venues or on the buses to the sugar bush tours.

Q - Can I get to Elmira any other way then by car?

A - The Waterloo Central Railway and Grand River Transit offer train and bus service respectively on festival day. Please see here for details.
