2012 – 1948 Ford Panel

Back in 1987, a limited edition antique replica toy bank was offered to Festival visitors as a fundraiser. Since then, the Festival toy bank has become a must-have souvenir, completely selling out in many years. In the past 25 years, models have included a horse and wagon tanker, a 1917 Maxwell Touring Car, a 1913 Ford Model T runabout, 1925 Kenworth Barrel truck, and a 1947 International pickup truck. These metal cars and trucks have potential value as collectibles and often have appreciated in value year by year. Each new edition is eagerly awaited by collectors and dealers. For 2012, we are pleased to offer a 1948 Ford Panel truck which can be purchased at the Festival for $38.00 including taxes. They are available at the Toy Show, the Elmira Bank of Montreal, Woolwich Visitor Services (519 669-6000) or from the Festival website. The high quality features of this classic panel include chrome bumpers and wheel covers with whitewall tires, and a shiny Ford blue paint job. This classic replica also features the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival 2012 show logo complete with a red maple leaf on the door panels. The Festival's 48th Anniversary is printed on the rear door.
