Attraction Details

The Pancake Tent:

No trip to the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival is complete without a stop at our famous pancake tent. Located just off of our outdoor mall (directly behind the Macs Milk/Petro Canada). Enjoy hot, fresh, golden pancakes dripping with delicious pure maple syrup. Bring your appetite, one and two pancake servings are available.

The Outdoor Mall:

Home to the vendors of our festival. Located on Arthur Street in downtown Elmira. Looking for a snack? Why not try a jumbo turkey drumstick, some freshly made apple fritters covered in syrup or a giant pickle on a stick? Not feeling hungry? No problem! Visit one of our many unique craft vendors. You never know what you might find, there's something for everyone on the mall.

Antiques and Collectibles Show

Located in the Jim McLeod arena at the Woolwich Memorial Centre the Antique and Collectibles Show provides a variety of antique vendors selling artifacts from days gone by. While browsing through the show stop by the ‘What is it’ contest which will test your knowledge of antiques, check out the antique fire truck and vintage cars and make sure to skim past the silent auction offering some fantastic deals.

Explore the Sugar Bush

Ever wonder how maple syrup gets from the forest to your breakfast table? Join us on a tour of real operating sugar bush. We'll take you through the process from tapping the tree to boiling down the sap into delicious fresh maple syrup. Tickets are available on the day of the event and buses run regularly to and from the sugar bush.

Quilt and Craft Show and Sale:

This event takes place in the Gymnasium of the local high school. Looking for beautiful handmade quilts, decorations for the home, clothing and jewelery? This is the place for you. Craft makers and artisans are on hand to help you find that perfect something. While at the show be sure to not miss the live quilting demonstrations.

Toy Show and Sale:

Located in the Lions Hall next to the Woolwich Memorial Complex is our annual toy show. Looking for something unique for the kids? Or perhaps you're looking for something for the collector in your life? You're sure to find what you're looking for at the toy show. While you're there don't forget to pick up our annual toy collectible bank. If previous years are any indication they'll go fast. Don't miss out on this sought after piece of festival memorabilia.

Pancake Flipping Contest:

Wacky fun for the whole family! Located inside the Woolwich Memorial Complex in the Dan Snyder Arena this annual tradition is sure to please. Watch as local celebrities, politicians and enthusiasts vie for the coveted "Sap Bucket" trophy. You can rest assured that you've never seen a sport quite like this!

MegaMutts Dog Show:

Join Elmira’s own MegaMutts Dog Show team in the Dan Snyder Arena at the Woolwich Memorial Centre for a fun-filled family show. Displaying the best of the canine world, these dogs will entertain you with obedience, agility and tracking routines to a fun musical beat. Seen by almost 2,000 Festival-goers last year. Be sure to arrive early and beat the crowds for the 10:00, 12:30 and 2:00 shows.
