Quilt and Craft Creations!
In Elmira, you’re in the heart of quilt country. Every year at the Festival, people come from all over North America to see a craft show of jewellery, knitting, soaps, pottery, gardening, etc. and, of course, quilts. Local quilters from the region demonstrate this ageless art and attempt to quilt an entire piece throughout the day of the Festival. The show changes every year, with new artisans and craftspeople showing their products, so there is never a shortage of treasures to discover and take home. Join us at this popular event from 8:30 to 4:00, located two blocks south of the Outdoor Mall in the Elmira District Secondary School. Admission is $2 for adults; children under 12 are free.
