Antique Antics!
Collectors and antique dealers from across the province come to Elmira to display their treasures for sale. The range of items is truly mind-boggling: furniture, books, dishes, estate jewellery, collectibles of all kinds. Adding to the fun is our own Antique Appraisal Show on Friday evening, where everyone is invited to bring in attic treasures or curiosities and, for a small fee, have them appraised. There’s also the ever-popular “What is it?” contest where you can test your knowledge or skills of deduction to figure out the uses of old tools and implements. There’s something for everyone at the Elmira Arena from 6:00 to 9:00 Friday evening and all day Saturday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is $2, with children under 12 free.
