We turned 50!
Another Elmira Maple Syrup Festival has come to a close. Thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered, was a vendor at, performed at, and supported the 50th Elmira Maple Syrup Festival! We wouldn’t have made it to 50 without you!
Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who made this year’s Festival and the 49 previous Festivals possible! Also, thank you to the Festival Committee and 50th Anniversary Festival Committee who donated hundreds of hours of their time to make this community event happen!
The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival relies on sponsors so that as many proceeds from the day as possible can be donated back to other not-for-profits and charities in the community. A huge thank you to all of our sponsors for their generous support!
Come Taste the Tradition again next year! March 28, 2015.
Limited Edition Artwork
To honour the 50th Anniversary of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival a special painting was commissioned for this year! Celebrated local artist Peter Etril Snyder created this stunning piece: Passing Tradition, the commemorative painting for the 50th celebration of the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival, 2014.
If you’ve wondered how you can own a copy of this special painting yourself, click here for an order form.
We used this image on our website and throughout other 2014 promotions. A big thank you to Wallenstein Feed & Supply Ltd. for their generous sponsorship of the painting.
Our goal is to offer a family friendly, volunteer led festival to celebrate Elmira’s history as a maple syrup producing community through a blend of traditional and innovative events that will attract guests from across Ontario and beyond.
We want to present the best one day Spring Festival in Ontario that honours our host of volunteers; supports local non-profit organizations; respects the environment; and partners with the maple syrup producers, downtown businesses, and the local community to make the Elmira Maple Syrup Festival a must attend event each and every year.
